Legislative papers, 1894.

These are copies of bills introduced during the 1894 session of the General Assembly. Most include both a handwritten or typed draft, and a printed version, although occassionally only one or the other is present. Some of the documents include handwritten notations, which seem to be recommendations or reports on the progress of the bill. Many of these bills were not passed through the legislature for the consideration of Governor John Young Brown, who had the power to approve or veto any bills that made it through both houses of the General Assembly.
